My third Single Reveiw

Hello there!

Today, I'm going to reveiw "Undisputed" by Ludacris. This song is a really different from the other songs that he writes. His music is usually about girls and other shallow things. But this song is really deep and meaningful, and Floyd Mayweather is in it! I really like the song, but it is just a little bit too long. So overall, I give this song a C+, or 3 1/2 stars.

My second Single Reveiw!

Hello There!!!

The Single that i'm going to reveiw today will have a special place on my favorite song list. I will remember it for the rest of my life. The Single is "Get Up" By 50 Cent. Because of a misinformed friend, I thought that 50 Cent had Retired, because of that, I didn't listen to music for almost a whole month. WHen I saw this Single on the "What's Hot" Section of the iTunes Homepage, I flipped out. I was so happy! So was my friend! This song isn't deep like some of 50's songs, but it's really catchy, and not depressing like a good majority. The melody is really "Happy-Rap" like. It's going to be a real clubbin' song soon. Overall, I give this Single a B, or 4 Stars!!

My first Music Video Reveiw!

Hello there!!

Today, i'm going to reveiw "Everybody" by Fonzworth Bentley. I was really surprised by the music, and the theme of the video. It was all about sex and stuff like that, but they were preforming it. There were no half-naked women!!! And Fonzworth has the smoothest voice. And With Andre 3000 in there, the song is amazing!!! The Music video is pretty cool too. So overall, I give this video a C+, or 3 1/2 stars.

My eigth Album Reveiw!

Today, i'm going to reveiw "Still Ten-a-Key" by Young Buck. It wasn't anything special, but it wasn't horrible. What really bugged me was he ripped off two of Lupe Fiasco's best songs. Young Buck's version wasn't horrible, but it definetly wasn't as good as Lupe's version. Other than his rip-off songs, his album was really depressing! I thought it was a real downer. If he can start to write more uplifting music, then maybe he'll sell more albums. So overall, I give this album a C or 2 1/2 stars.

Today, I'm going to reveiw "Murs For President" by Murs. I don't like it at all. There was one song on there that didn't stink. It was The Time is Now. Everything else was horrible. I give this an F+, or 1 STAR. My worst reveiw ever.

My sixth Album Reveiw!!

Hey there,

So I was on iTunes lookin' around to see if there were any good albums out, and I saw an album by an artist that I've never heard of. That artist's name is Lecrae. His new album, "Rebel", is alright, but nothing really special. It has a sort of "run of the mill" kind of rap that you hear from almost any artist. I thought that it sounded a bit like Diddy, 50 Cent, and AZ mixed. The lyrics resemble some of 50 Cent's deep and mesmerizing songs, but I saw no soul in Lacrae's lyrics, his voice had the normal and unreconizable voice of Diddy, but with less flair, and there was just the slightest amount of AZ in with bothe of the lyrics and the sound. Overall, it was a mediocre album, so it deserves only a mediocre reveiw. I give this album a C, or 2 1/2 stars.

My fifth Album Reveiw!

Hello there!

Today, i'm going to rate "Paper Trail" by T.I. I think it's pretty good, but it seems so small because of how many singles he had on that album! He should have only had "Whatever You Like" and "What Up Whats Haapinin'." And maybe instead of Swing Ya Rag, he should have put out "Life You Life" it's really catchy with the Numa Numa song thing. It's a pretty good album, but I had much higher expectations for it. I would have liked to hear more from different artists coming in with T.I, but that wasn't about to happen. His album wasn't fresh, it sounded like any other "hardcore" rapper that din't have a lot of soul in his music. (By the way, i'm not talking about the singles on Paper Trail, just the regular songs.) Overall, I give this album a B, or 3 1/2 Stars.

Today, i'm going to reveiw "Love Lockdown" by Kanye West. It's ok, but it's really weird. It's nothing like what Kanye would write. It has that "T-Pain" affect, and there is no rapping! He has a great rapping voice, and he doesn't have the greatest singing voice. If his next album is him only singing and no rapping, then i'm going to be very dissappointed with it. Overall I give this single a D or 1 Star.

What I think about Heath Ledger being the Joker

Hello there,

By now, everyone has probably heard of the Dark Knight. It was the best movie that was out this summer by far, and probably for the whole year. It had some really good actors such as Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, and Morgan Freeman. As we all know by now, Heath Ledger played the Joker. His character was the most amazing, and the most compelling character that I have ever seen in a movie. He really transformed the Joker from a guy with a goofy hairdo with dumb clothes and laughed to much, to a misunderstood psycho-terrorist that was so smart and so clever that he was the one that made the movie good. (No offense to everyone else in the movie, but Heath saved your asses big time). If he doesn't get an Oscar, then there is nothing god is dead, or has something against good acting.
I originally heard that Heath Ledger was basing his character off of Jack Nicholson's Joker in the earlier Batmans. If he did, then he did an awesome job of portraying his character.
In some parts of the movie, I actually felt kinda sorry for him. When he was having a sit-down with the Mafia, and they were calling him crazy, that was when I felt sorry for him. His character was just so real and lifelike, that you just had to feel sorry for him.
It was some of the little things that made The Joker so real and compelling, like the way he would make that sound with his lips when he would talk, or when he first saw Lois and he acted like he was trying to impress her by slicking his hair back, or the way he always said, "Why So Serious?" I don't know about you, or anyone else, but Heath deserved that Oscar, whether he's dead or not.

My fourth Album Reveiw!!!

Hello there!!!

Today, I am going to reveiw "Greatest Hits" by Nas. It's a revalation. I have hardly heard anything better. Those songs are just so good! The songs are so deep, they are like the Poison Dart Frog of the musical rainforest. Beautiful, but deadly. This album will be remembered as one of the greatest hip-hop/rap albums of the 21st century. I give this album an A+, of FIVE STARS!! I guarantee you that this album will be one of the only five star albums that I ever rate.

Why music videos don't suck

I was watchig some music videos again yesterday, and they were actually pretty good. I guess it really has to do with the music that the music video goes with. It definetly has to do with the song. So I take back what I said about music videos a few days ago, all except for the Country Music Videos. Oh well. All of the music videos on my blog are some of my favorite songs. Check them out.

I am going to reveiw "We Global" by DJ Khaled. I didn't like it. All of the beats sounded the same, and he has poser rappers like Flo Rida and Trey Songz. All except for one song, "Go Hard" feat. Kanye West T-Pain. That was the only one. I give this album a D or 2 stars

Why music videos suck

I have been recently watching a lot of music videos. I was very disappointed with most of them. Country Music Videos are some old guy in a cowboy hat sitting on a fence-post pretending to play a guitar, Rock Music Videos are them just playing the music and sucking. And Rap music videos are people with a bunch of women around them with Yankees hats on and Basketball Jerseys trying to look like Pimps. I don;'t like 'em, but that's just me

My second Album Reveiw

Today, I am going to rate the album Year of the Gentleman by Ne-Yo. When I listened to this album for the first time, I wasn't in the mood for this kind of music. So I almost wrote a bad reveiw for it. I listened to it again, and I thought it wasn't half bad. I could tell that Ne-Yo really put a lot of time into each and every song unlike some other artists that put all of their time into their lead-off single. ne-Yo was difinetly going for quality not quantity in this album. I thought it was pretty dang good. I did notice that a lot of his songs were a little sad, but still very good. Overall, I give this album a C+, or 3 stars.

My first Album Reveiw!

Hello everybody! I know it's way too late but i'm going to reveiw Graduation by Kanye West. Overall, I would have given this CD a Grammy if Kanye West didn't have the songs Drunk and Hot Girls, Barry Bonds, and Good Night. Those songs just SUCKED!!!!!!!! I liked all the others though. One song that I thought that should'eve gotten more recognition than it did was The Glory. I don't know why, but I just loved that song!! It might have been Dwele's really cool background singing, or it might have been the awesome beat. Whatever. Overall, I give that Album a C+, or 3 stars. Alright. That's it for now. C-ya L8r!!!

Today is a day of sadness, but of happiness too

Hello everybody,
This is my first ever blog post. Fitting that it's on 9-11. I wish there was something that I could do, but there really isn't. This certaion blog is all about different things. It is about anything that I want to talk about. I am trying to become a music critic, so that is what this blog will be mostly about. But for now, this will be about 9-11. I wish I could take a moment of silence, but this is a blog. Well, for now, until tomorrow, I will say goodbye.
